For recording live events, MP-Video Productions has an outstanding record of capturing and reproducing the atmosphere of events using surround sound technology. We can record, mix and master 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound for your video or audio project. Our recording equipment can tap into most sound boards and similar equipment. For music recording, our 24-channel digital multi-track recorder allows the recording of many instruments and vocals on individual channels, providing utmost flexibility for the mixing process during the post production phase of the project.
Location Sound Recording
For interviews and dialog recording, we typically use a shotgun microphone for outdoor recordings and a hyper-cardioid microphone for indoor recordings, mounted either on a stand or on a boom pole. A windshield ("blimp") eliminates wind noises even on very windy days. Wireless microphones are available when more mobility is needed, or when a regular microphone could otherwise not be hidden.

Music in your Project
The use of popular music in your project can be difficult from a legal perspective. Agreements from the owners of the composition and the specific recording need to be obtained before music can be used in a production, and MP-Video Productions will work with you to determine the feasibility and cost of obtaining those rights if that's what your project requires.
More affordable is the use of so-called "royalty free music" or "stock music", which can be purchased for a small free and distributed as part of your video. MP-Video Productions has a large selection of music that can be used in your projects. Alternatively, we can work with local musicians to create and produce original music for your video.
